Summer of 1888: Ernest Felix Potter builds a 4-hole course

     The course is set up behind the old Benedict Arnold homestead.

1895: Norwich Golf Club formed

1898: Norwich Golf Club expands the 9-hole course to an 18-hole course

1903: Norwich Golf Club separates from the Norwich Club

May 17, 1910: Eighty acres acquired for the golf course. 

   The land includes the site of the old clubhouse by the Inn
